At the end of March, I had the pleasure of presenting once again at SharePoint Saturday (though it was on a Friday) Honolulu. It was great to meet with old friends and new companies attending this important community event to learn more about the challenges and opportunities we all face in transforming companies’ online user experiences.
What a week. May has traditionally been a big month for SharePoint, and the SharePoint Conference NA was chock full of announcements that will lead up to more coming soon at Microsoft Ignite, Orlando, Fl, September 24-28, 2018.
If you are heading to Las Vegas, May 21-23, 2018 for SharePoint Conference NA 2018, mark your calendar for our Diversity & Inclusion Programming all week at the event.
The D&I track starts Monday morning just after the Microsoft keynote with 12 sessions and 3 panels on a variety of topics by Microsoft Employees, Microsoft MVPs and Community Members.
Blow winds blow, ah. The cold wintery wind whips snow against our faces as we trudge from the parking garage to the doors of Normandale Community college, determined to speak our hearts out for the SharePoint Saturday Twin Cities event…. Blizzards do not stop Minnasnowtan SharePointers! Or Michiganers who now live in Los Angeles. RAWR!
From November 13-16, our European SharePoint community gathered in beautiful Dublin, Ireland. This was my third time attending and speaking at the European SharePoint Conference. This was my second trip to Dublin, Ireland where I studied at Trinity College many years ago. I was thrilled to come back and see how the city has changed. I got a great dose of Irish warmth, food, hospitality and “Craic” (the Gaelic word for fun and enjoyment). I am always highly impressed with our ESPC event organizers, the quality content, our community and vibrant speakers. I am always grateful for the opportunity to speak at this event.
I love taking a bite out of the Big Apple, every chance I get. What a wonderful event last month at SPS NYC. Big thanks to our organizers! It was terrific to get back to the Microsoft Times Square offices and see so many old friends and new faces.
I presented my Office Planner session, One Card at a Time – Leverage Office 365 Planner to Plan Your SharePoint End User Adoption Campaign. New features in Office 365 make it very easy to visually organize teamwork, plans, tasks, and files. However, as we’ve stressed time and again on this blog, the right people and right processes must be in place before using any technology to drive a project.
