Wherever I travel the thing that lights me up about a city is always its people. The cities I love the most trend to similar affinities. Many times they are beach communities with musicians, artists, surfers, skaters and street art, and have an eclectic mix of people.
San Juan, Puerto Rico has all of the above. Talking with the local technology community and locals working in San Juan, they speak of being on the mend, still in need and still wondering why they were otherwise forgotten.

Last week I had the pleasure of speaking at SPTechCon in Boston. A big thank you to Stacy Burris who is an amazing organizer and dear friend, you rocked it. A big thank you as well to the panelists from our Diversity in Tech panel, many of whom jumped in to replace some folks who couldn't be there.
At the end of March, I had the pleasure of presenting once again at SharePoint Saturday (though it was on a Friday) Honolulu. It was great to meet with old friends and new companies attending this important community event to learn more about the challenges and opportunities we all face in transforming companies’ online user experiences.
